Lana Salahalddin Mhamed

Lana Salahalddin Mhamed Khurshid is a passionate and dedicated educator currently working as the primary school principal at (Barzani Namir) Educational Complex. She earned her BEd in English Language from College of Education- Salahalddin Univirsity-Erbil (2004). In (2012), she earned her MA in Sociology and Social Polices form Kurdistan University-Hewler. She is well experienced in educational sector with 20+ years in education, starting her educational career path working as a teacher of English language in various schools (international, public, private, schools for girls, for boys and co-educational schools). She also served as a socio-educational researcher as well as a specialist in English language curriculum development in General Directorate of Curricula and Printings for more than 8 years. She was the head of education sector in Rwanga Foundation at its launch )2013(. She has been an active participant in many educational seminars, workshops, conferences, and trainings the latest of which was a Seminar for Cultural Officials from the Belt and Road Countries in China (2024). She believes in teamwork and the power of educational team force in making changes.
