International Mother Language Day

Language is the foundation and pillar of survival and development for every people and nation. A living society always protects its official and cultural language. If the mother language is merely a remembrance for other nations, for the Kurdish people, it is as precious as a great celebration. The Kurds have been the greatest victims of linguistic oppression, sacrificing their blood for the Kurdish language for hundreds of years. Now is the time for the voices of this cherished nation to echo the beauty of their mother language.Forget all the bitterness of the past.
